Kyocera C2101 — Developer motor error (black)

What this error means
The black developing motor didn't reach ready state — loose connector, stiff drive, or motor failure. Reseat the developer/toner unit and power cycle before service. (C2102–04 are the color siblings.)
Symptoms
- Error when printing starts
- After moving or servicing the machine
Try this first (safe DIY steps)
- Power off; remove and reseat the black developer/toner unit
- Power on
Safety: power off before any physical intervention. Never bypass covers or interlocks — fuser areas run hot enough to burn.
