About FixOffice

When something breaks in an office without a facilities department — which is most offices — the job lands on whoever is closest: an office manager, an operations lead, the founder. They face a cryptic error code, a machine everyone needs, and no way to know whether this is a ten-minute fix or a $500 service call. So they Google, guess, and get quoted blind.

FixOffice exists to close that information gap. We're building the structured database that should have always existed: every error code on the equipment offices run on, what it actually means, what you can safely do yourself, and what a fair repair costs. Free to use, honest about what's verified, and independent of everyone who might quote you.

We're starting with the equipment that generates the most panic per square foot — copiers, printers, standing desks, chairs — and expanding from there. If something in your office is broken and we don't cover it yet, tell us through any email box on the site: real requests set the roadmap.
