Konica Minolta C6102 — Scanner home sensor failure

What this error means

The flatbed scanner carriage can't find home — belt, pulley, motor, or sensor in the scan drive. User limit: check for a shipping lock and obstructions under the glass, then power cycle.

Symptoms

• Copy/scan dead, printing fine
• After moving the machine (shipping lock!)

Try this first (safe DIY steps)

1. Check for a scanner shipping lock switch and set it to unlocked
2. Look under the glass for obstructions
3. Power cycle

Safety: power off before any physical intervention. Never bypass covers or interlocks — fuser areas run hot enough to burn.
